Brazilian racing driver emblematic of Formula 1 in the 1980s and 1990s, Ayrton Senna won 41 Grand Prix, including 35 for the McLaren team, with which he was world champion in 1988, 1990 and 1991. Spiritual son of Fangio, Ayrton Senna is known as one of the most talented Formula 1 drivers of all time. Controversial for a few unsportsmanlike gestures, he remains a myth nonetheless, long after his brutal death at Imola in 1994.
