Nero d'Avola is a concentrated and flavour rich wine, with a welcome freshness and minerality.

Notes of chocolatey cherry and plum are followed by hints of toast and spices. The wine has a pleasant silky texture, with a long and powerful punch.

The Di Giovanna family have been tending their vineyards in the west of Sicily for five generations now, where their artisanal wines are produced and bottled. All wines are made exclusively with fruit from the estate and the production cycle is certified organic.

The grapes are harvested by hand in the Paradiso vineyard, before de-stemming, fermentation and warm maceration on lees for 20 days. Partial aging in French oak barrels for 6 months, followed by aging in the bottle for an additional 6 months.
