Real Model – Ferrari 250 GT SWB Competizione n° 14 – 24h Le Mans 1961
The Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta "Competizione" is the racing version of the 250 GT SWB, featuring a short wheelbase (2,400 mm), a chassis and suspension tuned for competition, and a 3.0-liter Colombo V12 engine boosted to approximately 290 hp at 7,000 rpm in the most highly tuned versions. Car No. 14, entered in the 1961 Le Mans race by Pierre Noblet’s team and driven by Pierre Noblet and Jean Guichet, is finished in grey with the characteristic French blue stripe and detailing.
At the 1961 24 Hours of Le Mans, this 250 GT SWB (No. 14) delivered a remarkable performance: it won the 2,501–3,000 cc GT class and finished 3rd overall behind the Ferrari 250 TRI/61 prototypes, completing 332 laps (4,476.58 km) at an average speed of over 186 km/h. This result cemented the 250 GT SWB’s status as the ultimate benchmark in GT endurance racing during the early 1960s.

The KK Scale 1:12 model of the Ferrari 250 GT SWB Competizione No. 14 faithfully reproduces the racing coupé’s silhouette: a long hood, set-back cockpit, rounded roofline, and short rear end, complemented by pronounced fenders and a hood air intake. The metallic grey livery—featuring a central blue stripe and the number 14 on the doors and hood—is faithfully reproduced, evoking the car that raced at Le Mans in 1961.
This 1/12 scale metal model features opening parts (hood and doors), a detailed V12 engine, wire-spoke wheels, tires, a racing cockpit (bucket seats, roll cage, instrumentation), and finely crafted chrome details. Its impressive size and level of detail make it a spectacular display piece, showcasing one of the most prestigious Ferrari GTs in Le Mans history.
