Unveiled in 2025 as the successor to the SF90 Stradale, the Ferrari 849 Testarossa is a plug-in hybrid supercar. Its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 is paired with three electric motors; the combined powertrain delivers 1,050 hp—a record output for a production Ferrari at the time of its debut. Ferrari claims a 0–100 km/h sprint of under 2.3 seconds and a top speed exceeding 330 km/h.

The "Testarossa" name revives a moniker that first appeared in 1956 on the Ferrari 500 TR, referencing its red-painted cylinder heads. However, the 849 does not adopt the silhouette of the 1980s Testarossa; instead, its angular design draws inspiration from Ferrari’s sports prototypes of the 1970s.
