This box tells the story of the German economic and agricultural boom of the 1950s! Between 1956 and 1963, approximately 120,000 tractors rolled off the production line at the Friedrichshafen plant, destined for farms across the country. In the most glorious hours, production reached a tractor every five minutes. In Friedrichshafen, it was not uncommon for dozens of red tractors to be ready for daily deliveries in spring and summer. Owners of Porsche tractors enjoyed reliable service - the fleet of VW T1 transporters crisscrossed the roads all over Germany. The Demag V70 mobile crane was used to load tractors onto railway wagons. By the late 1950s, the tractor boom waned as initial demand proved to be largely covered.
