The Porsche 956 No. 26 competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1984.
Historically, in 1984, the Stuttgart official team was forced not to participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans due to a change in the regulations issued by the "Automobile Club de l'Ouest" which provided for changes to fuel consumption.
The car was rented by Preston Henn Racing, the American team.
he triumph of these three brilliant drivers who managed to dominate the 956, succeeded in finishing in second place, and this by being positioned in the twenty-fifth place on the starting line.
