Real Model – Alfa Romeo 156 1998
The 156, designed by Walter de’Silva, relaunched Alfa Romeo in the late 1990s, with its sharply sculpted sides, slim headlights, large triangular grille, and hidden rear door handles to mimic a coupé. Voted European Car of the Year in 1998, it combines a finely tuned chassis (double wishbone front suspension) and a very expressive Latin design, especially in red.

The Triple 9 1/18 scale model reproduces the 1998 156 sedan in Proteo Red, with a metal body and no opening parts, a detailed but understated interior, and original wheels. In the shop window, the bright red on the curved sides and the aggressive front end gives a very emotional presence for a youngtimer, especially to liven up a shelf of 90s sedans opposite the E39/A4 of the same era.
