Real Model – MGA MK1 Softtop 1959
The MGA MK1 retains the ultra-low and flowing lines introduced in 1955: teardrop-shaped front fenders, low windshield, and rounded rear, for a true British roadster with a 1.5/1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine producing around 70–80 hp. Finished in British Racing Green with a cream/beige interior, the car takes on a very chic, almost "country coach" look, especially with the soft top up, which nicely accentuates the beltline.
Miniature – MGA MK1 Softtop 1959 Green / Cream 1/18 Triple9 (T9-1800165)
This 1/18 scale model from Triple9 features a green body, a closed soft top, a cream interior, and chrome wire wheels, with right-hand drive and opening doors. In the shop window, this green/cream + soft-top combo gives a very vintage presence, perfect for complementing an MGA series (EX182 Le Mans, hard-top coupe, white Mk2) and composing a small history of the MG lineage on a single tablet.
