Real Model – Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 1963
The 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray marked the arrival of the second generation Corvette (C2), featuring a completely redesigned fiberglass body, futuristic styling by Bill Mitchell's team, and a new independent rear suspension that significantly improved handling. Offered as a coupe and convertible, it was powered by a 5.4-liter V8 producing around 300 hp depending on the version. 1963 remains famous as the only year of the split-window coupe, whose divided rear window made this first Stingray a highly sought-after icon for collectors.
