The original Datsun 510 is a compact sedan/coupe produced in the late 1960s and early 1970s, known as the Bluebird in some markets and successfully competing in events, notably the Trans-Am 2.5 and rallying. Thanks to its simple architecture, efficient chassis, and widespread popularity, it became a highly regarded base for performance and racing modifications, particularly in the American and Japanese markets.

The "Pro Street" concept translates the spirit of track dragsters to a road car: a large V8 or heavily modified engine, reinforced suspension, and massive rear tires, while maintaining a body that is generally close to the standard production model. The Datsun 510 Pro Street reinterprets the small sedan as a straight-line machine, while retaining the JDM DNA of the 510.

The Mini GT & Kaido House 1/64 scale Datsun 510 Pro Street Buta V1 miniature features a very low body, pronounced fender flares, and, most notably, gigantic slick tires at the rear, giving it a typical drag racing stance. It sports a pink paint job with black rims and a "Buta V1" livery inspired by the JDM "pink pig" concept, complete with a character and graphics typical of the Kaido House universe.

The engine hood opens to reveal a detailed engine compartment, while the interior receives a sporty treatment (detailed interior, bucket seat, steering wheel) visible through the windows. The all-metal body, die-cast chassis, rubber tires and fine tampo printing complete the package, making a small 510 very expressive and immediately recognizable in a display case despite the 1/64 scale.
