For its return to GT3 at the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans, Ford is fielding several Mustang GT3s in the LMGT3 class, including the #44 entered by Proton Competition and driven by John Hartshorne, Ben Tuck, and Christopher Mies. Based on the Mustang Dark Horse and developed with Multimatic, the #44 sports a yellow livery with black stripes and delivers a strong performance, finishing 4th in the LMGT3 class, just shy of the podium in the Mustang GT3's first appearance at Le Mans.
