The Lancia Stratos HF is a coupé designed specifically for rallying, featuring a mid-rear mounted 2.4-liter Dino V6 engine, a short wheelbase, and a highly compact body; it became an absolute icon of the 1970s WRC era. Sandro Munari dominated the 1975, 1976, and 1977 Monte Carlo Rallies in the Alitalia-liveried Stratos, securing three consecutive victories for Lancia.

In 1976, the Munari/Maiga crew (car No. 10) won the Monte Carlo ahead of two other Stratos cars, delivering a spectacular 1-2-3 finish for Lancia/Pirelli. This Alitalia-liveried No. 10 is one of the most famous Stratos cars in rally history.
