The 2016 Land Rover Defender 110 SW Adventure Edition is part of a special series created to celebrate the end of production for the historic Defender, a lineage tracing back to the 1948 Series I. With only 600 units produced worldwide, this version was available in 90 or 110 Station Wagon body styles and was distinguished by a clear focus on off-roading and expedition capabilities.
The 110 version reproduced here is powered by the 2.2-liter "Puma" four-cylinder turbodiesel engine, delivering 122 hp and 360 Nm of torque. It is paired with a six-speed manual transmission, permanent all-wheel drive, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. This powertrain prioritizes low-end torque and off-road efficiency over raw speed: the Defender 110 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 15.8 seconds.
The Adventure Edition is identifiable by its specific equipment: an Expedition roof rack, snorkel, rear access ladder, underbody and sill protection, Goodyear Wrangler MT/R tires, 16-inch black diamond-turned alloy wheels, and LED headlights. The Corris Grey paintwork contrasts with Santorini Black elements—including the roof, hood, rear door, grille, headlight surrounds, and wheel arch extensions—while the interior features Windsor leather upholstery with contrasting stitching.
