The Mazda RX-7 FD3S is the third and final generation of Mazda’s famous rotary-engined coupé; produced from 1991 to 2002, it was powered by the twin-turbocharged 13B-REW rotary engine. In 2023, the Japanese tuner Liberty Walk—founded by Wataru Kato—unveiled its extreme "LB Super Silhouette Works" kit for this platform, drawing direct inspiration from Japanese "Silhouette" race cars and the Porsche 935. This fiberglass kit features custom bumpers, wide fenders, side skirts, a hood, headlight covers, a diffuser, and a massive rear wing. Transformed in this way, the RX-7 has become an icon of contemporary JDM culture, blending Mazda’s rotary heritage with a radical racing aesthetic.
