The SLS AMG Black Series is the radical version of the SLS, equipped with a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 producing approximately 622 hp, a weight reduction of around 70 kg, and a look directly inspired by the GT3 (widened fenders, large diffuser, fixed rear wing, carbon fiber throughout). Finished in deep blue (Designo Mystic/Mystic-Blue on the 1:1 scale model), the bodywork further accentuates the muscular fenders and the iconic "Gullwing" line, making it one of the most desirable variants of the SLS today.

The Minichamps 1/18 scale miniature reproduces this configuration in "AMG Daytona Blue," an intense metallic blue that highlights the gaping air intakes, the intricately sculpted front bumper, and the wide rear wing. Made in diecast, officially licensed by Mercedes, and announced as a limited edition, it is now sold out at most retailers and is positioned as a premium piece for a Mercedes/AMG display case, especially when displayed alongside other SLS models (standard, GT, and other Black Series colors).
