The 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé is quite simply the most expensive car in the world: one of only two existing models was sold in 2022 for €135 million at a private sale organised by RM Sotheby's, setting an absolute record for a motor car. It owes its name to Rudolf Uhlenhaut, Mercedes' chief engineer and father of the project, who personally used the prototype as his company car. A true derivative of competition, it features an F1 inline 8-cylinder engine with approximately 300 hp and exceeds 290 km/h, exceptional performance for 1955.
Made from resin on a 1/18 scale, this model offers exceptionally refined lines with a silver grey paint finish that is very faithful to the original. The details are particularly well crafted: precise interior, realistic rims, clean adjustments. The miniature comes with a display case, ideal for exhibition and protection in a collection.
