The real car
Launched in 1993 to meet competition homologation requirements (Group N), the Peugeot 106 Rallye 1.3 is a true, unadulterated sports car. Fitted with the legendary 100 ch TU2J2 engine revving up to 7,200 rpm, it relied on radical fuel efficiency and a featherweight kerb mass of under 810 kg. Instantly recognisable in its white livery, matched with white steel wheels and enhanced by the famous PTS stripes, this rabid little beast embodies the golden age of lightweight, authentic GTis.
The 1/18 scale model
