Real Model – Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 1973

The 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 was the first 911 to bear the "Carrera" name, a tribute to the Carrera Panamericana. Created to secure Group 4 homologation, it followed a simple formula: increased engine displacement, reduced weight, and refined aerodynamics. It quickly became the benchmark for classic 911s, thanks in particular to its "ducktail" rear spoiler—the first fixed spoiler fitted to a production Porsche.

Its naturally aspirated 2,687 cc flat-six engine produces 210 hp at 6,300 rpm and 255 Nm of torque at 5,100 rpm. Mounted in the rear overhang, the engine is paired with a five-speed Type 915 manual transmission driving the rear wheels. Weighing approximately 1,075 kg in its Touring trim, the RS 2.7 reaches a top speed of 245 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in around 5.8 seconds.
