In 1987 Porsche celebrated its 250000 th Porsche 911 off the production lines by manufacturing a special model: the Porsche 911 Jubilee.
Vintage 1988, the car was produced with 3 variations of bodywork. The model is rare as only 875 copies were ever produced: 505 in coupé, 205 in cabriolet and 165 in targa style.
Recognizable by its unique diamond blue metallic color and matching wheels (option 697), the car also had a distinctive interior with diamond blue leather seats with Ferry Porsche's signature embroidered on the headrests (option RZ), as well as a commemorative plaque "250000 Porsche 911 - Jubiläums - Sonderserie 1987" 1987 911 Jubilee 250,000 Special Series affixed to the glove box.
