The No. 43 Porsche 935/78, affectionately nicknamed ‘Moby Dick’ due to its imposing dimensions and long white aerodynamic tail, represents the ultimate evolution of the 935 for the 1978 24 Hours of Le Mans. Powered by an 845-horsepower twin-turbo engine, this Group 5 monster proved to be the fastest car on the Hunaudières straight at 366 km/h, securing 8th place overall in the hands of Manfred Schurti and Rolf Stommelen.
