At the 1978 24 Hours of Le Mans, the spectacular No. 41 Porsche 935 entered by the ASA Cachia team put in a remarkable performance, finishing 7th overall. Entrusted to the expert hands of the Brazilian driver trio of Alfredo Guaraná, Paulo Gomes and Mário Amaral, this turbocharged racing beast demonstrated exemplary consistency to shine amidst an extremely competitive Le Mans field.
