Abstract :
On June 12, 1999, in the Indianapolis portion of the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit, the Mercedes CLR n ° 5 launched at over 300 km / h loses downforce and begins to take off, like a plane, then turns three times in the air before crashing into the trees at the edge of the track.
