In 2023, Porsche is adding a new color, called Turbonite, to its range of finishes for its Turbo models. Porsche's Turbo models have been renowned, since 1974 and the very first 911 Turbo, for their exceptional performance. These models are considered by Porsche as a brand in their own right. To underline their special character, Porsche has therefore sought to offer distinctive finishes, of which the new Turbonite color is an integral part.

This new metallic gray color will be used not only on the brand logo, but also on other exterior and interior components of the Turbo models. For example, it will be present on the lettering on the rear of the cars, on the borders of the side windows and on the inlays of the front skirts and light alloy rims.

This Turbonite color can also be used in the passenger compartment, on the decorative strips, the belt straps, the controls and the air conditioning control panel. In combination with a black interior, it could serve as a contrasting color for the seats, door panel trims, dashboard and floor mats.

This is the first time since the beginnings of Porsche that the traditional colorful logo, created for the marketing of the Porsche 356 in the USA, has been abandoned on the brand's production models.
