The Porsche LMP2000, known by its internal code name 9R3, is one of the most mysterious and fascinating projects in the history of Weissach. Developed to conquer Le Mans in the year 2000, this prototype with its exposed carbon-fibre bodywork was powered by a revolutionary naturally aspirated V10 engine, the architecture of which would serve as the basis for the engine of the legendary Carrera GT road car.
Produced by Spark in 1/43 scale for the official Porsche Museum collection, this resin replica captures the prototype in its most radical test configuration. The finely detailed carbon fibre weave, faithfully reproduced, along with the details of the open cockpit and the imposing rear wing, make this model an exceptional piece for any collector wishing to own a slice of the brand’s ‘secret’ history.
