The Ferrari 330 P4 (1967)
The Ferrari 330 P4 is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful racing cars ever built, the pinnacle of Maranello's design and engineering in response to Ford's offensive. Equipped with a 4.0-litre V12 engine with three valves per cylinder developing 450 hp, it made its mark on the 1967 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with an epic duel against the GT40 MK IVs. The Belgian National Team's No. 24 car, driven by Willy Mairesse and Jean Blaton (alias ‘Beurlys’), drove an exemplary race to finish third on the podium, completing the historic triumph of the P4s that year.
