Real Model – Nilu 2025

The NILU is a hypercar created by Nilu27, a brand founded by designer Sasha Selipanov, formerly the head of design at Koenigsegg. Unveiled in 2024 and slated for production starting in 2025, it champions a deliberately analog approach that bucks the trend of hybrid hypercars: no electric motor, no turbochargers, and no automated transmission—instead, it features a mid-rear naturally aspirated V12 engine and a manual gearbox.

Its 6.5-liter "Hot V" V12, designed exclusively by Hartley Engines, produces 1,070 hp at 11,000 rpm and 860 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, with a redline set at 12,000 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed CIMA manual transmission featuring an open gate. This powertrain is housed in a carbon-fiber monocoque complemented by aluminum subframes; the car has a dry weight of just 1,200 kg.

The NILU prioritizes a raw, mechanical driving experience, featuring double-wishbone pushrod suspension, Brembo CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brakes, and center-lock wheels (20-inch front, 21-inch rear) shod with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires. Its top speed is limited to 400 km/h, while the 0–100 km/h sprint is estimated at under three seconds. Production is limited to 54 units, preceded by an initial run of 15 launch edition models.

Miniature – Nilu 2025 Super White 1/18 GT Spirit (GT578)

This 1:18 scale model by GT Spirit replicates the NILU 2025 in its white finish. Bearing reference number GT578, it is crafted from resin. Like most resin models from GT Spirit, this is a static model with no opening parts—meaning the doors, hoods, and trunk do not open. It therefore focuses on the accuracy of the silhouette, particularly the very low front end, slim headlights, muscular fenders, large side air intakes, center-lock wheels, and the open rear section that reveals the spectacular architecture of the V12 engine and its exhaust system.

This miniature represents one of the first 1:18 scale reproductions of the NILU. It makes for a unique addition to a collection of contemporary hypercars—especially alongside models from Koenigsegg, Pagani, or Gordon Murray—yet it boasts a technical identity that is far more radically analog.
